Green Chocolate! Matcha is rich and smooth with a beautiful grassy aroma. When matcha and chocolate are melted together a creamy, sweet, umami cloud of deliciousness is created... in the shape of a very cute emerald green baby bunny.
About the Matcha
Shade grown, the tea leaves are covered for for 20-30 days before harvest, the lack of light gives the tea it's bright green colour and enhances the production of amino acids giving the tea a smooth umami flavour. The youngest leaves are hand picked, steam, dried and stone ground into powder.
There is a matcha shortage in Japan right now, thank-you to Reina Sakao for sourcing this precious matcha for us. A limited number of matcha bunnies will be made.
The matcha used in baby bunny is from Uji, Kyoto from the second harvest of the year.
