Vigia cocoa is produced in the area southeast of Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela known for its perfect conditions for growing cocoa. The varieties of cocoa produced in this region are Criollo Mérida, Guasare, Porcelana, and hybrid cacao such as Criollo Lobatera. All share Criollo ancestry, large sized beans, great flavour, and come from historical plantings. A perfect balance of nutty undertones, dried fruit with a creamy base.
