This batch of MILK old school is made with beautiful beans from Ocumare de la Costa  one of the historic heartlands of Venezuelan cacao. This small stretch of the Caribbean coast is home to legendary varietals like Chuao, Choroni and Cuyagua.

Chocolate as it was back in the day - simple and pure. 

Only three ingredients ground together in our vintage melangeur with no further processing, refining or conching. Partially ground Criollo Merida cacao nibs, milk and whole crystals of organic cane sugar provide an entirely unique crumbly almost cookie-like texture.

About the farm

Hacienda Las Bromelias Farm is located in the coastal cacao-growing region of Aragua State, near Ocumare de la Costa. Cacao Las Bromelias is a cacao developed by the farm by carefully crossing trees with Criollo genetics. The small farm grows and cares for Ocumare, Chuao, and Choroni varietals with a small output of 4 MT.
