Welcome to our miniature world of tumbles where the inhabitants wear layers of chocolate.

Tumbling machines are like big concrete mixers but instead of cement we fill ours with chocolate. It’s a joy to have one as part of our arsenal of playthings. And play we do, we recently did a mac-nut with 5 different experimental layers appropriately named the jawbreaker. Think of a chocolate version of the turducken.

Recently we just added a mini-me sized, copper tumbler to our toy box. Add a fire source and the possibilities are endless. For a test we made a small batch of caramelized milk cacao nibs which mysteriously, but not surprisingly, all disappeared.
