Memo is made out of juicy strawberries & cream chocolate and puckery raspberry chocolate. Memo's 2 little friends, Silverside fish twins, Oro and Rio are made of juicy Mango chocolate.
Memo and friends live in a delicious habitat of edible river rock, roasted almonds, roasted corn, green raisins and cacao nibs enveloped in luscious milk and dark chocolate.
About this fascinating cutie
Wild Axolotls live in the canal systems of Lake Xochimilco near Mexico City within "chinampas"—ancient Aztec floating gardens where flowers, vegetables, and corn are grown. Axolotls have the largest sequenced genome (10X more DNA than humans) giving them regenerative superpowers to regrow any part of their body including their brain and hearts. Cool huh?
Axolotls are critically endangered, their habitat at risk from over-tourism, pollution and invasive fish. Scientists from the University of Mexico are leading a project to conserve and restore axolotls and their ecosystem within the chinampas (floating gardens) of Lake Xochimilco. A portion from each Memo will be donated to support this program (Adoptaxolotl)
