Honey butter cloud
To celebrate its new fluffy shape a special batch made with St. Brigid's Jersey milk, barrel-churn butter. A fluffy whipped ganache with St Brigid's glorious butter, wildflower honey and a sparkle of Newfoundland Salt Company crystals.
Rhubarb and Mascarpone Floret
A soft Italian triple cream cheese whipped and swirled around a tangy twilight Rhubarb jam.
Strawberry/ Rhubarb
A tangy earthy twilight Rhubarb jelly floats above a sweet creamy Strawberry truffle.
About twilight Rhubarb (forced rhubarb)
This Rhubarb grows in sheds in the dark. The pale beautiful pinks and greens are from the lack of light, some growers still harvest with candlelight. The sprouts looking for light grow so fast farmers can hear it pop and squeak it’s way out of the soil. wow!
Forced rhubarb is tender, elegant and sweeter than the thick sour stalks of the summer variety. These beauties were grown an hour North of here by the fine peeps at Lennox Farms.
These truffles are handmade with fresh cream and butter without any preservatives so you should eat within 5 days once received. This won't be a problem right lol?
Storage: Truffles like it cool and dry with temperatures of 14-18 °C (57-64 °F) with a humidity lower than 40%. Keep them out of the fridge as they easily absorb smells of other food. A cool dry basement, pantry or if you have, a wine cellar does quite nicely.
This box is curated and packed ready to travel or for you to swoop in to pick one up (sorry no substitutions).
