This jar contains one rare Comoros vanilla pod buried within organic cane sugar. Aromas are gorgeous, lusious creamy notes, brown butter, marshmallows, and chocolate. :)
What to do with your Sugar
Vanilla infused sugar is used to bake and make. To recharge simply refill your jar with sugar, wait min 2 weeks to infuse. You can recharge for years to come. To use the precious caviar, cut open your pod and scrape ( a little goes a long way). Pop your pod back into the jar so it can keep doing its beautiful job of infusing sugar.
About Comoros Vanilla
A single estate vanilla from Comoros, a small African, island nation just North of Madagascar. The islands are lush with volcanic soil, perfect for growing Vanilla. Comoran Vanilla is the best Bourbon Vanilla we have ever tasted. For only a few hours every season each Vanilla orchid is pollinated by hand, if successful one single Vanilla pod will grow. Very special and rare.
Fun fact: Bourbon Vanilla does not contain Bourbon. Bourbon vanilla is named after the French Île Bourbon (now known as Réunion Island) in the Indian Ocean, not after bourbon whisky
