Enzo, watch the stars...triple dark chocolate bark with walnuts

Collections: Corporate Gifts, Tree Parts + spreads + dipped, Xmas

Two deeply delicious expressions of chocolate joined together into a dark chocolate dream. One side a thick buttery chocolate sable slab, baked just on the edge of crispy and soft, the flip side a beautiful 70% chocolate made with cacao beans grown in the mountain region of Semuliki National Park in Uganda.

A sprinkle of roasted cacao nibs and slow roasted walnuts gives Enzo, watch the stars the title of most chocolatey bark ever. Gorgeously dark with complex notes of all things chocolate. Put a piece in your mouth and lose yourself in the night sky studded with stars and planetary wonders.

Packed up in a beautiful cacao forest box.

About the chocolate:
The cacao beans used to make this chocolate is grown by 500 smallholder farmers in the lush growing region of Bundibugyo in Uganda. Each farm is 1-2 hectares, either owned as family land or leased from other farmers.

Wet beans are bought and transferred to a central post harvest facility in a converted B&B in the village of Bumate. The location is at the base of the hills leading into the mountains taking advantage of maximum sunshine and limiting runoff.

This chocolate bar is community supported. Chocolatemakers are given an opportunity to pay a bonus per kg to be used directly to support the farmers that make Semuliki Forest cacao possible. This year the fund will be used to pay school fees for the farmer’s children.
