The licorice in this gelato grows wild on the sun-kissed hills of Calabria. The mineral-rich clay soil makes the licorice roots naturally sweet and aromatic. It is considered the purest in the world, labeled D.O.P. to highlight the special nature of this region.

The licorice is infused into a caramel gelato... a little sea salt to bind the 2 heavy hitters together. Intense enough to please the hard-core licorice lovers delightfully more-ish for licorice naysayers to come to the dark side.

Gelato and sorbet is made in our kitchen that uses nuts (including tree nuts), eggs, fruit and milk/cream.
